Year 6 London Trip

It was a pleasure to accompany our Year 6 cohort on their end of year trip to London on Tuesday. It was an early start, departing school at 7am; however, it soon proved to be worth it! After battling the rush hour traffic, we arrived at the Natural History Museum and spent a couple of hours exploring the exhibits. This was followed by a walking tour of London where we took in the main sights: Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Trafalgar Square and Leicester Square to name a few. Following our tour, the children were treated to a three-course meal at Zizzi’s before continuing their walk to the Cambridge Theatre for an evening performance of Matilda the musical. Safe to say there were some very tired children (and adults) on the return journey.
